According to, Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has said that 10,633 approved vacant posts will be recruited in the Punjab Police.

Chief Minister Punjab has said that buildings will be constructed for 101 police stations in the province while 45 under construction will be completed this year.

He said that the land would be transferred to the police department so that the police could be deployed on their land. According to the Chief Minister, Rs 49 billion will be provided step by step to eliminate the shortage of resources and increase the efficiency of the police. More advanced communications equipment and transport will be provided.
